Nominations criteria
The following are the criteria for nominations:
Criteria 1:
- Nomination is open for NGOs who are members of the eNGO Network (for details of the network pl visit www.pirengo.org and www.engo.in
- NGOs who are not part of the network may register themselves in the network by filling up the registration form ( no fee) and sending in the filled form at engonetwork@defindia.net
- The form can be downloaded at www.pirengo.org
Criteria 2:
Nominees have successful and sustainable applications and services developed or deployed in locations with demonstrated impact in quantity and quality for its serving community, clients or stakeholders;
Criteria 3:
Applications and practices must be on ground for at least 1 year;
Criteria 4:
Mere innovative ideas and designs are not applicable for the eNGO Challenge.
Criteria 5:
Every NGO nominee must have working website or their virtual presence as an essential criteria to judge their public presence.
Nomination Eligibility
The following is the eligibility terms for NGOs who are participating in the eNGO Challenge 2012:
- NGOs means a registered society (not-for-profit) having registered under appropriate acts and authority within a country ;
- NGOs must possess registered certificate as a proof of legal existence;
- NGOs must be at least 1 year old having good amount of quality work in a community setting ;
- NGOs also mean social enterprises who can participate in this challenge.
