Communities would be considered to be digitally included if they had fair access to digital technologies and channels and were able to use them to pursue chances for solutions, leisure, and lifelong learning as well as inclusion in the digital economy. By tackling technological impediments, establishing supportive legal and regulatory settings, and bridging digital divisions, such as those related to gender and disability, these initiatives enable wider digital inclusion and increase self-reliance.
- Digital initiatives by NGOs that enable digital inclusion of communities in access to critical information, skills, training, content, and services.
- Initiatives in digital-based opportunities by NGOs for communities to engage in the digital society and economy and, that contribute to creating a digital just society where digital technologies support human rights, social justice, participation and equity.
