The second phase of Internet Saathi training was held in Madhya Pradesh’s Vikashkhand District. A master trainer was introduced to Internet Saathi project. Trainees were briefed about various digital tools. Illiteracy and lack of awareness among the communities have created suspicion about internet as a medium, the workshop aimed at telling them how it can be used in a more beneficial way. I was also a great opportunity to interact with thousands of women about new technology. Beneficiaries of this training project will focus on creating awareness about digital tools in relation with financial services and accessing banking services through a mobile device. The Saathi was made to watch a video film on online banking and financial literacy.
