First, two-day of training was held on March 14-15 in Bhagalpur District, Block- Sultanpur. The workshop was attended by 32 Internet Saathi. All the trainees walked out happily after the workshop as they learned how to use mobile applications for secure financing. Now they can pay their electricity bills online; connect to government policy on women and girl safety. Internet Saathi taught them to become independent with the help of basic digital tools. People were also told the benefits of setting up businesses online and the way to go about it. This was the first time that a digital training workshop was conducted in this village.
