The eNGO International Challenge involves the following key activities pre and post and its essential steps:
1. Stage I: Preparatory works
- Finalization of logo
- Consolidation of partnerships (Outreach, media & sponsors) and tie ups with stakeholders from the public, private and civil society sectors
- Project website with programme details (Calendar, Main event date, Venue, Charges, Registration etc.) and nomination form
- Prepare Guidelines, Disclaimer & assistance portal (on website)
- Provide Online Nomination form testing & automatic mail reverts to technical team
- Consolidation of DEF networks from the Manthan Award & mBillionth Awards and its eNGO network for the nomination process
- Development of communication materials for soliciting nominations – both online and offline. This includes EDM communication, newsletter, mass mailing, post, fax, social media, and advertisements.
- Regular research for new database to apply.
2. Stage II: Nomination Process
- Nomination process open on à August 10th 2013
3. Stage III: Jury Process
- Two rounds: (i) Internal Screening (ii) Main Jury
- Jury to have 8-10 experts from government, industry, civil society and academia
- Main Jury is a one day programme
- At least 5 finalists in each category
4. Stage IV: The eNGO Challenge Gala, Expo & Felicitation Ceremony
- Invitation to all finalists from 6 categories.
- Finalization of theme and session for the finalists presentations to be presided over by experts
- eNGO Expo to showcase best ICT practices by NGOs (winners and finalists)
